I really wanted to like Playa Beauty because I have fine, wavy hair and thought it might help with texture, but it just made my hair feel heavy and a little greasy. My waves looked okay for a few hours and then were basically flat by the next day. I reached out to support, and the response kind of made me feel like I was the problem or using it wrong, which was frustrating. Maybe it’s better for thicker hair, but it just didn’t work for me.

There are definitely a few good ingredients in here, so it’s not like it’s totally bad. But I did notice some fillers too, which makes me wonder if they’re trying to make it look more impressive than it really is. Overall, it’s okay, just not as clean as I was hoping

I really wanted to like these because I’d seen them around and the packaging looked nice sitting in my shower, which matters more to me than it probably should. I used them for a few weeks, consistently, usually after my evening workouts or just whenever I washed my hair, and I kept waiting to notice some kind of difference.
The scent was actually really nice, and the bottles are cute, but my hair still felt dry and kind of flat. I didn’t get the softness or shine I was hoping for, even though I tried not to use too much product and rinsed it out really well like I normally do.

Maybe this works better for a different hair type, or maybe my hair is just being difficult lately because the weather has been weird too. But for the price, I expected more than just a nice smell and bottles, so I probably won’t buy it again.

This just didn’t work for my scalp. After like two washes, my head got really itchy and flaky, so I had to stop using it. Idk, maybe it works for others, but def not for me.

The box was in great shape when it arrived, and nothing inside was damaged. i was relieved because I never fully trust customer service to make things right if something goes wrong, but thankfully I didn’t have to deal with that.
